I don’t get how you have to be a ~huge fan to have appreciated someone’s talent. I love a few songs she sang and I definitely think she was a large part of my mother’s music taste growing up. She also gave spectacular performances on stage, so let someone have a few grieving seconds for a relevant artist and performer and just stop shitting on everyone who falls in the between category of being a fan. You don’t need to be a die hard fan of someone or something for it to affect you when she, he or it goes away indefinitely. Maybe you can relax on the subject because who fucking cares how other people react.
